We are very pleased to offer a very rare slice of base level loveliness. A super are 1989 Citroen BX Flight which has only covered 32k in 33 years and is presented in ready to use and enjoy condition, This BX has been preserved very well indeed and is one of only 2 BX Flights known to the owners club and the only Flight on the road so you will be in a very exclusive club. These cars as you know are supremely comfortable and easy to drive and offers a fantastic entry in the Classic Car world as well as being a great alternative daily, it certainly gets lots of attention wherever I take it. It is accompanied with a service history folder and the original Citroen handbook. It has its original bill of sale, previous V5s and every tax disc from new.
On the road this BX is fantastic to drive. The 1. 4 engine is very punchy and it really does perform well and it easily keeps up with the modern stuff. The suspension is in full working order and combined with those very comfortable seats nothing rivals this car for cruising comfort.
The interior is very well preserved and original. It even has its original Radio and rubber floor matts. The original dealer sticker is still on the rear window and it has the original tax disc holder and key ring from the supplying dealer, Olds in Cheltenham. Being the base model it has no frills except a factory fitted tilt sunroof. The seats, switchgear and roof liner are all in very food condition.
This BX has a very solid shell and appears to have never been welded. It is still body coloured inside all four inner wheel arches. The paintwork is very presentable and looks mostly original which is a real bonus, it does have some minor areas where the paint is a little thin but this does detract from this Cars fantastic appearance. It is super straight down the flanks and has its original Flight decals. It has just been fully serviced with a coolant flush, spark plugs, rotor arm, distributor cap, air filter, ignition leads and an oil and filter change. The cambelt was replaced in April this year. The Octopus, the hydraulic rubber lines, have also recently been replaced. It has a no advisory MOT until April next year so its ready to be driven and enjoyed.
