1980 Mini 1000 in Vermillion Orange with a period sliding sunroof. This is a great mini which has had just 2 owners from new. The last owner bought it in 1984 and has owned it for the last 38 years!! It has always been garaged during this time and as a result is in great condition. All of the panels look to be original and when you lift the carpets the inner sills are all original and very clean. It has covered just 32200 miles from new and I have 33 past MOT certificates to support the mileage as well as a think history file with original book pack etc. The interior is also in lovely condition and has a walnut dashboard and door capping’s. It has a modern CD player and 4 speakers. It also has an immobiliser to give a bit more peace of mind when leaving it parked up. I have 2 sets of keys and 2 remote alarm fobs. It drives well and as you can imagine gets lots of smile and waves! The roof adds an additional fun factor to the mini and it is in great condition closing tight to the roof. The condition has been helped so much by being garaged for the last 38 years as normally the sunroof, interior and exterior condition deteriorates due to sun and rain.
I was very exciting to find the car as it is rare to come across an unrestored example. It has just had some new paintwork due to minor rubs and scuffs and it is now looking super sharp. This will be a great mini to own and enjoy and will soon become part of the family!
