First registered on 1st March 1971, this Triumph has been family owned from new up until last year. It had been dry stored since the mid 80s and has survived very well. The current mileage is just 27618 miles from new. Sadly it’s early history has been mislaid by the family. We first purchased the Triumph at the beginning of 2023 and subsequently sold it to a gentleman on the south coast. At the time he was ill and he never got around to driving it and he sadly passed away shortly after, so we have purchased it back from the family. It has had much recent recommissioning work including new brake calipers, hoses, pipes, discs and master cylinder. New track rod ends, dynamo, regulator and engine service. It is now running and driving superbly. There are no transmission whines that are all so common on these cars
The bodywork finished in Valencia blue has been resprayed with the exception of the roof. This was due to faded paintwork. It now looks very well presented, together with new bumpers etc
When we sold it back in february we presented it for an mot test, which it passed with no advisories. It has done no mileage since, so we would be happy to present it for another test for the new owner. This is a real little time warp car and is ready for the new owner to enjoy.
