Offered for sale is my fathers mgb roadster v8 conversion. A truly unique car and one of the best that I have seen. Excellent condition throughout and finished in fiat Rossi red ( looks wet all the time ) with magnolia leather interior, 72 spoke 6x15 chrome wire wheels and red carpets with walnut dash and door cappings. It has a mohair hood finished in black and stainless overseals. It’s party piece is the bulletproof rover sd1 3. 5 litre v8 that is squeezed under the bonnet ! It has a viper hurricane cam and Lucas fuel injection giving it approximately 210 horses. Coupled with a rover sd1 5speed manual box, Borg & beck clutch, Hopkinson handling kits front and back, bilstein shocks all round, full stainless exhaust system, cross drilled v8 discs all round. The car is a show winner and has featured in Mg magazine (included). A true testament to the builder and really is one of a kind whilst retaining its original looks and patina. Restored and rebuilt in the late 90’s so it does have the odd mark here and there, but has been lovingly cared for and has not wanted for anything.
