This MGB is part of my personal collection. I fell for its Orange Blaze colour, far rarer than Old English White or the very common British Racing Green. Its power has been significantly improved by removing the emissions control system, and it's now very pleasant to drive. I'm parting with it reluctantly to finance a new automotive project.
Work Carried Out (Restoration and Improvements)
Special care has been taken with its maintenance and aesthetics to guarantee optimal reliability:
Bodywork and Sealing: Replacement of all seals (boot, deflectors, windows, windscreen, bonnet) and waterproofing of the canvas soft top.
Interior: Installation of a complete MG interior kit, including new carpets, as well as seat covers and foam.
Mechanics and Ignition: Carburettor adjustment and cleaning, installation of electronic ignition, Lucas sport coil, reinforced Cobalt spark plugs and Bosch battery. New accelerator cable
Performance: Removal of the original American emissions control system to free up the engine, installation of a new exhaust silencer and complete overhaul.
Suspension and Braking: New brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders replaced and high-performance brake pads.
Finishes: Installation of chrome mirrors and a badge support bar.
