Back in 2005, Volvo made a bold statement by launching the XC90 and later on the S80 with a 4. 4L V8 engine. This engine was produced in collaboration with Yamaha and produces a healthy 315 horspower. This power was sent through a automatic transmission to all 4 wheels. This engine acquired quite the cult status among Volvo enthousiasts and was even used as a basis for the Noble M600 supercar. In this configuration, the engine produced 650 horsepower with the aid of 2 turbochargers.
This XC90 was delivered new in in February of 2006 to a director of Volvo Belgium. He specified the car with almost every single option imaginable and available at the time. The Executive trim can be recognised by the Volvo badges on the rear doors and the optional Executive Leather interior. This XC90 is finished in Titanium Grey Pearl on the outside and a beige leather interior.
