MV Agusta celebrates its 75th birthday.
It is celebrated with a special model of the Superveloce.
Of course, only 75 examples of the Superveloce 75 Anniversario will be produced.
MV Agusta fans and collectors take note. The tradition-steeped Italian manufacturer is celebrating its 75th birthday and is giving its customers presents to mark the occasion. The MV Agusta Superveloce is being presented in a special guise to mark the company's anniversary. The special 75 Anniversario model will be available online exclusively via the redesigned MV Agusta website from 15 November 2020. The order books will be opened from 00. 00 for exactly 75 hours. A maximum of 75 customers can make a reservation. Then it's over.
Already sold out
Addendum of 16 November 2020: MV Agusta announced on Monday evening that the 75 special model was sold out within seconds. Technically, the special model does not differ from the normal Superveloce 800. The Superveloce 75 Anniversario has the same F3-800 in-line three-cylinder engine with 147 hp output, which also makes the Anniversario over 240 km/ h fast.
What makes the 75 Anniversario special are the changes in the periphery. The retro supersport enters in the colour scheme of the Italian flag and with special graphic details. These include the black and gold Inmotion spoke rims and the seat upholstery for the driver and passenger in red Alcantara.
But the Anniversary Package also offers other tasty features. A certificate of authenticity assures collectors of the model's uniqueness. Exhaust specialist Arrow contributes a new exhaust system, which is, however, only intended for circuit use. The kit is also equipped with new software for the engine control unit. So that you can see what you are riding - or even just owning - the upper triple clamp is provided with a numbered badge. A special cover and a painted hump cover round off the overall package.
MV Agusta has not yet announced a price for the special model. But that shouldn't stop real collectors from making a reservation anyway.
