2005 kawazaki w650 EJ650C7P , UK Model ------------SOLD, SOLD, SOLD.
A time-warp bike. The first owner kept it in his lounge & never went out in the wet, the next owner had it only for a couple of months, rode it home from purchase & had to sell as his business got into difficulties. Ive had it since July 2020 which was quite bad timing from a riding point of view with 2 years of lockdown & no events & its been ridden only around 200 dry miles since. Stored “dry” of petrol when not in use & always filled with Esso 99 Octane Synergy Supreme fuel which is Ethanol free.
Basically a standard bike with the “they all do that Sir” problems sorted out – leaky vacuum gas tap, popping & backfiring in the exhausts, blued pipes from the AIS etc. New Bridgestone tyres & AGM battery recently, W800 chainguard to replace the plastic OE, Adjustable fork preload to stiffen the front up, Goodrich brake hose, AIS & carb heaters removed, manual fuel tap, tank “de-badged”, Kawa rear carrier. No irreversible mods done to the bike. Removal of the AIS stops the popping & banging on the overrun & the carb heaters arent needed in our climate & it all just clutters the bike up.
Mudguards are sealed underneath to prevent any ingress of water - if the bike was ever to be out in the wet!
All removed OE parts will come with the bike. Some new oil filters, a new “one tooth” larger gearbox sprocket for more relaxed cruising, new disc pads, new manual fuel tap & genuine Kawasaki workshop manual will be included at the asking price.
It is in remarkable condition for a 17 year old bike & purrs along like a new bike, pipes not blued, paintwork & chrome pristine, it took me ages to find one this good & I'll regret its sale no doubt.
At the time of advertising it has 5723 genuine miles on the clock, may have a few more by the time of sale. MoTd til 20th June 2023.
Reason for sale.... I have too many bikes. Classic bikes - Norton 600, Matchless 500, Morini 250. MotoParilla 250, all road registered & rideable plus Ducati 600 & Moto Parilla 175 projects about to reach completion. I am literally running out of space & time to ride them all.
Pics dont do it justice, it is in exceptional condition. You will find a cheaper W650 but I doubt you will find a better one or its equal with such low mileage but in use & well maintained over the 17 years since it was new.
