Description
The Jaguar XJR is powered by a supercharged 4. 0L V8 engine. It is equipped with sport suspension, wider wheels / tyres, matte-black exterior window trim, and body-coloured radiator grille surround with a stainless-steel mesh insert. Other exterior touches include the "XJR" rear badging and larger twin exhaust pipes.
Available on late XJR models was an "R1" performance option. This included 18" BBS wheels, larger Brembo brakes with cross-drilled rotors, and re-tuned suspension.
The XJR is an effortlessly fast super saloon, capable of reaching 60 mph in 5. 6 seconds, 155 mph (electronically limited), and with equally impressive braking thanks to the upgraded brakes.
This particular model has belonged to the company director since 2017, and has been exceptionally well looked after.
Built in Sept 2001, specified with the rare "R1" performance option, and UK supplied by Jaguar of Devon, this is a late X308 model. With 5 owners, it has covered 106, 212 miles, and has been looked after exclusively by Jaguar main dealers, with 16 service stamps and receipts.
The Pacific blue metallic paintwork is in exceptional condition, as is the full Ivory leather. Being a top of the range model, the car is fully equipped, with notable specification including, electric seats with memory settings, heated seats, electric mirrors, air conditioning, power and adjustable steering, and on board computer.

When acquired in 2017, we found the car required some recommissioning, so the following work was carried out:
- Full service inspection and major service at Jaguar Park Royal
- New front brake discs and pads
- New front tyres
- New track rod ends
- Front end respray (stone chips)
- Repairs to underside / inner sills (surface corrosion)
More recently we have fitted new rear tyres, had another major service at Jaguar, and re-gassed the air-conditioning.
To summarise, this Jaguar XJR presents and drives faultlessly, and needs no work at all. Whilst it has covered a few miles, the history should reassure the next owner of how well it has been looked after. For more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
