1992 Airstream 350 LE American Motorhome
This my own personal RV and is currently used for transporting my classic race cars to events around the uk , so mileage will increase
Imported by myself 2 years ago from its long term owner in florida . Under 7500 kgs so can be driven on a grandads license
On arrival we overhauled the transmission and engine and added a large aluminium radiator with twin cooling fans , I spent £000`s to ensure i had reliability .
It now sits at motorway speeds all day pulling my race shuttle without issue , brakes were checked over , handbrake overhauled and new tag axle poly bushes fitted .
Powered by a chevrolet 454 cu inch big block petrol engine , no shortage of power with a great exhaust note whilst quiet in the cabin
I added the towbar and electrics
A uk inverter has been fitted so it can use a uk mains hook up , it also has a generator .
All the interior lights were upgraded to led and all other systems checked and tested
The heating is warm air running on 'LPG as is the cooker and fridge
This is the last year of production for the aluminium fuselage before they moved to fibreglass and only 12 350 le were manufactured that year . These are rare in the usa and even rarer in the uk
I had the outside polished on arrival and is stored inside between meetings
Inside is very original with full cream leather with corian work tops , end bedroom , seperate toilet and shower rooms .
