1987 Ford escort Rs turbo , restored to concours condition. 4 owners and a genuine 83, 000 miles, this is an original non custom car which is rare to find. It has had a period tilt sunroof fitted back in the late 80s but it’s a professional job that looks good (paperwork for this is on the service history file)
The car wasn’t in bad shape to start with, the wings had a bit of rust behind the body kit so 2 new old stock genuine Ford wings were fitted, rear arches and battery tray were also replaced and the car was fully painted, every nut, bolt and screw has been zinc plated, new suspension, brakes and running gear fitted through out. The engine is standard and runs well, the gearbox and turbo were reconditioned. Many new old stock parts were fitted including genuine chrome top carello headlamps. The spare wheel still wears its original tyre. The car is in stunning condition and needs nothing. I have plenty more photos I can send via WhatsApp
