Built to do battle on the super saloon market with the luxury German car marques such as BMW and its popular M5, the S-Type R produced nearly 400bhp from its supercharged V8 powerplant making it one of the fastest Jaguars ever built. With a 0-60 time of 5. 3 seconds and limited to 155mph you can waft along in brilliant British luxury.
The current owner of this example has held the car for the past four years but has little use for it now, hence the reason for sale. The black wheels suit the deep red, metallic bodywork that has stood the test of time. The two-tone leather interior compliments the exterior and is in good order.
