Puch embodies THE early motorcycle brand in Austria. The 250 SGS offered here was a top model in the 250 class. SGS stood for “Schwing-Gabel-Sport”. One of the technical tidbit was the split-single two-stroke engine which was designed significantly differently than the other two-stroke engines. The engine produced 16, 5ps and reached 110kmh top speed. The machine is ready to run as well as matching numbers and still has the original nameplate.
