MOTODROME ARE DEFENDER SPECIALISTS – SEE WEBSITE FOR FULL STOCK
motodrome offer this rare original 1999 Defender 110 TD5 Heritage Edition station wagon 12 seater, finished in Bronze Green with white roof and the correct Lincoln Green full leather interior.
The limited edition Heritage edition was marketed by Land Rover in 1999, in either 90 or 110 station wagon formats, and was available in just 2 colours, to reflect the original 1948 Series One models – either Bronze Green or Atlantic Green.
Just 270 were built, 189 90’s and 81 110’s, and this is one of the 66 110’s made in Bronze Green.
The Heritage specification included, externally: body coloured headlamp surrounds, wheelarches and mirror housings, silver grille, hinges, and sidesteps, and Boost alloys (shop with a matching set of BF Goodrich tyres) Internally they had special ivory-coloured instruments including a rev counter, and the full Lincoln Green leather seat facings.
This one was further specified from new with optional air conditioning and the ultra-rare electric overdrive, giving a much more relaxed cruising speed than a standard TD5
This one is in otherwise standard specification, with the exception of mudflaps all round, toypack, and a more modern stereo unit.
Odometer reading 112000 miles, and the last owner has had it since 2015
History-wise, we have the original service book with 13 stamps, and a selection of bills and old MOT’s, the original book pack and 2 sets of keys and fobs
Comes with MOT to November 2023, and 6 months warranty on sale.
Despite it’s rarity, it’s a Defender that has been used, not cosseted and kept in a museum, so there are one or two battle scars and signs of ageing. It’s also never been the subject of a full restoration.
It’s a rare opportunity to acquire an original example of a limited-edition Defender.
