Description
1963 Velocette Venom with matching numbers from the Veloce factory and retaining its original registration number. The original buff logbook is with the bike. The bike was supplied new by Drinkwaters in Rochdale. The bike has been rebuilt and has completed just under 300 miles since completion. Some of the engine work was done by Velocette specialist Nick Payton with final assembly by myself. A recent upgrade was to fit valve coil springs by KTT services. The crank was overhauled by Alpha, Roger Dunster rebuilt the wheels, The magneto was rebuilt by the Magneto Guys, Rutland Dynamos did the dynamo and the bike is fitted with a DVR2 regulator, the bike is still 6V. Lots of new parts from the VOC including a clutch and chainwheel, release bearing upgrade, gearbox linkage, oil filter and wiring loom. Many other new parts fitted including a new Amal carb. There are also lots of receipts from the restoration, the Velocette red service book and blue spares book, the Haynes manual and the VOC engine and gearbox rebuild DVD's also come with the bike. £8995
