The Car
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is more than just a car—it's a piece of American automotive history. With its RS/ SS trim, this Camaro is equipped with all the correct Rally Sport and Super Sport options. The car was carefully sandblasted to bare metal before undergoing a complete rebuild and restoration. The body is solid and original, as is the underside and structure. It has been painted in a stunning Dodge Viper Blue metallic, accented by a custom white SS stripe. The front bumper was also painted, and the complete underside was cleaned, detailed, and coated. The trunk and engine bay were restored in factory style, completing the car's immaculate presentation.
Drivetrain
This Camaro is powered by a fresh Chevy small block engine, delivering an impressive 400-425 horsepower. It features custom aluminum heads, a special camshaft with new lifters, an aluminum 4-barrel intake, and carburetors, along with a high-performance set of headers. The engine is complemented by new pulleys, a new starter, a chrome alternator, and custom chrome valve covers. The power is transferred through a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a new clutch and pressure plates. A complete new driveshaft connects to a freshly rebuilt rear end with 3. 73 performance gears, making this car not only powerful but also incredibly fast due to its lightweight engine.
Suspension and Brakes
The suspension system has been entirely replaced with new components, ensuring top-tier handling. A 4-wheel Wilwood slotted and vented disc brake system has been installed, providing superior stopping power. A new brake booster and all new brake lines ensure reliability and safety. The car sits on brand new, custom Billet-Alu wheels with low-profile tires—20 inches at the back and 18 inches at the front—creating a perfect staggered stance that adds to its aggressive look.
Interior
The interior has been fully restored with Chevy-correct houndstooth cloth material, new door panels, a new headliner, and all new trim. The dashboard is upgraded with Dakota digital gauges featuring LED lighting, and a billet and carbon-style sports steering wheel has been installed. The wiring from front to back has been completely restored, making this Camaro feel like a brand new car.
