The car is Nissan Fairlady Z 2 + 2, it’s a JDM spec car and was imported originally to New Zealand directly from Japan. In the year 2000 it was imported to Lyon, France were it was enjoyed for a number of years by its french owner.
Upon purchasing the car the French owner was not satisfied by the original 2. 0 litre engine (Which wasn’t the quickest in fairness, was fitted by Datsaun which was mainly for the emissions, hatch door had a NAPS sign on it ) and went about sourcing a 2. 8 engine from a 280zx which benefits from being an injection engine over the original carburettor engine. a 5 speed gearbox was also fitted at the same time, from the 280ZX.
Several years after that it was purchased by a chap from Ireland., Whom collected the car in person from France and drove it back to Dublin! These cars are very reliable and can easy cover long distances without issue.
The car is still in very good condition and has been very well maintained, the body is quite solid, but I have seen no rust other than on the body which was limited to the usual places, door sill, lower quarter panel, hatch door corner. No rust in the car’s base at all.
The car had a the parts of the body where there was dents or rust repaired and painted.
All bushings have been replaces, some work is to be done on the steering to improve how the car drives but apart from that it is very nice condition.
Car is located in Ireland but price includes delivery to UK mainland and import duties and customs clearance.
