The Jaguar XK 150 OTS should not be confused with DHC Drop Head Coupe. The DHC has a very different roof that folds like an accordion and lays on top of the car, while the Jaguar XK150 OTS has a much lighter convertible frame that folds together and everything fits snugly underneath behind the two front seats. This makes the car look very clean and sleek.

Exterior: The Jaguar has a very nice paintwork in birch grey. The body is nice and straight and the body panels have a good fit. All chrome pieces are still original and untouched. Some pieces have faded over the years and some of the bumper guards have some small dents. The burgundy red interior makes a very nice contrast towards the grey outside. The car is in perfect balance of ride height front and rear. Rolling on chrome spoke wheels in excellent condition. The body is very sound and healthy, and has no signs of corrosion.

Interior: It is rare to find a 63-year-old Jaguar with the original leather looking as nice as it does on this car. Inside is still original leather, carpets, door card, dashboard and everything else. Dashboard and instruments are all good. When the car is parked outside over night and you do not want to take the perfect soft top up, there is a tonau cover. The trunk is also all original with all original items underneath the trunk spare wheel lid.

Engine: This Jaguar XK150 OTS has had a lot of mechanical work done to make sure it works and performs just like the day it came out from the factory. In 2015, the engine had a complete rebuild by specialist workshop “Classic Motorcars Limited” in the UK.

And much more. After this, the Jaguar XK150 OTS has travelled about 2, 500 miles (4, 000km). It runs, sounds and feels just amazing. The gearbox is perfect on this car and the car is very stable on the road.

History: The XK150 OTS was sold new in America by Jaguar Cars New York. It is a matching numbers car that came to Sweden in 2013 and had the same caring owner since. It came from South Carolina to Denmark in the early 90's. Then, it spent 18 years in a collection in Munich Germany where it was very little driven but serviced annually. In short, this is the car for you who wants to have something with a very original feel and look. Pretty much everything on the car has been checked and reworked or replaced but with an intention of keeping the car as original as possible. There are not many cars like this out there still. Anybody with enough money can restore a classic car to mint condition. However, they are only original once.
