1964 Morris 1000
Reg. no. AMW 394B
Chassis no. 1073969
Engine no. 99789
Transmission: Manual
Mileage: 9, 007 (Indicated)
The Morris 1000 had a long-standing production run from 1956 – 1971 and was very popular in the UK for everyday motoring. This is the series three of the Minor Model, which had received a number of updates and changes in comparison to its previous generations. This example had been with its current owners since 2019 with the intention of full restoration. It has had previous upgrades including the fitting of a Marina 1098cc engine, a larger carburettor and power assisted brakes. The car last ran around 6 months ago, and the engine turns over when the key is turned. The interior is in good clean order with seats appearing to be in fantastic condition. The car does require some recommissioning having been dry stored for the last four years and does require some bodywork attention, particularly to the sills and bottoms of the doors. Due to the car’s condition, we must assume that the odometer has gone around the clock, or it has been changed.
The car comes with a current V5 document as well as some old car sales receipts but no other paperwork.
Estimate: £1, 000 - £1, 500
