The Mobylette was manufactured by the French firm Motobecane, the world’s largest manufacturers of mopeds at the time with production figures of over half a million units a year.
This bike has been in current ownership since 2013 and appears to be in unrestored, original condition although not complete as per photographs; the engine turns over using the pedals. It comes with an interesting registration plate.
