As the insurance companies say, ‘Used for Social, Domestic, Pleasure and Commuting’ these small Peugeots were the bike for the masses and due to their strength and reliability, they were also used by the military. They were the effectively the French equivalent of the BSA Bantam.
This Peugeot 57 TAS has recently been imported from France and we are advised by the vendor that it is in full working order and running well. This low mileage 14, 413km or 8, 956miles (not guaranteed) has been restored in the past, the only remaining area for improvement is the fuel tank chrome which would benefit from attention.
Comes with – a current V5C, DVLA confirmation of registration letter, Customs clearance letter, a DVLA stamped MOT exemption form and some parts catalogues. Please note that the DVLA has issued a registration number 845 XVU for the bike and the owner is just awaiting the new V5C.

Vehicles that are un-registered or on foreign plates may require Import Duty and Vat to be paid upon purchase via HMRC prior to registering with the DVLA for a UK plate, if you are not sure please ask. For classic cars over 30 years this equates to 5% Duty on the final value.
