1950 Sunbeam S7 Deluxe Classic Green With its Trade mark balloon tyres . An In line 500 cc Twin . Erling Poppe was the Designer who can proudly put his name to this pretty motorcycle. One can say very similar to the war time BMW R75 , Built in Redditch, the S7 was expensive and over engineered but revolutionary for its time and extremely distinctive , (5, 554 produced) and the S7 was followed by the the S8 (8, 530 produced) .
Our example was registered on the 1/ 7/ 1960 , Frame number S73520 , Presented in beautiful condition , This S7 has formed part of a private collection and has been superbly looked after and in the last weeks fully serviced . It runs beautifully and can be used straight away . What a stylish mount and much admired when ever out on the road with the soft green paintwork and undulating lines making it very appealing .
