Description
This is my 1954 MV Agusta CSTL. It was imported from Italy and registered in the UK in 1981. Since that time I am the 3rd owner. It is fitted with the wonderful little 175cc overhead cam engine which returns about 125miles to a gallon of fuel.
I bought the motorcycle to ride a number of classic events. Mechanically I gave it a thorough going over to make sure it was reliable. It has refurbished forks, re-upholstered seat, new period correct handlebars, sealed petrol tank, new fuel taps, new battery and tyres.
I used the bike to compete in the Milano-Taranto event in 2022, which it successfully completed. It has also completed the Phase One Giro South West and the Phase one Northern Portugal tour.
Cosmetically the paintwork has a few chips as you would expect from a bike that is almost 70 years old. It is however a solid, original bike that is reliable and eligible for the historic class in the Milan Taranto, Moto Giro d’Italia, and other classic events.
