EXTERIOR
Dark metallic silver over burgundy, an elegant colour combination that suits the DB9 perfectly. The paintwork of this striking example presents really well throughout with a deep metallic shine and only a couple of minor imperfections to report on close inspection, namely a discreet graze low down on the front bumper. Looking along both sides of the car there are no unsightly car park dings to note and at the front the headlights are both perfectly clear. All the polished metal components such as the grille and window surrounds retain a great shine and the badges are in fine order too. A very sharp example overall in excellent mileage-defying condition.

INTERIOR
The Iron Ore upholstery makes for a stunning contrast against the subtle monochrome exterior. Open the door and you’re greeted by a lavishly appointed cabin with supple burgundy leather adorning not only the seats but also the door cards, dash and centre console. The interior is lifted further with lashings of satin aluminium and glossy Piano Black trim. The deeply supportive sports seats are very well presented with only some expected wrinkling to the outer bolsters in line with the mileage of 72k. The rear seats appear to have rarely been sat in, and the boot area is pristine and still equipped with an Aston Martin umbrella.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Having only ever been serviced at Aston Martin the mechanicals of this particular example are in very fine fettle. The original service book is stamped with 12 entries, the last service having been carried out by Leeds Aston Martin at 71, 339 miles. Lifting the bonnet reveals a very clean engine bay with all components presenting in excellent original condition. For the new keeper’s peace of mind a full mechanical inspection has just been carried out by our trusted classic car specialists. The DB9 performs brilliantly on test with effortlessly smooth performance from the venerable AM V12. The Touchtronic gearbox is a perfect accompaniment and can be operated manually using the paddle shifts, or it can simply be enjoyed in full automatic mode.

WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
Filling the arches are the factory optional 19-inch 15-spoke alloy wheels, all in perfect unmarked condition having previously been refurbished to a very high standard. They are shod in a matching set of Bridgestone Potenza tyres, all with at least 6mm of tread left. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition. The tastefully spec’d silver brake calipers also present very well with only a few small marks to report on very close inspection.

HISTORY FILE
First registered in June 2005 this lovely example was supplied new by HWM in Walton-on-Thames. It has now driven 72, 375 miles in the hands of 6 registered keepers. Within the accompanying History File the lucky new owner will be presented with a raft of invoices and MOT certificates, a spare key, and the original leather owner’s manual / service booklet with 12 Aston Martin main dealer stamps, as below. The advisory-free MOT is valid until February 2024.
