!! OCC Notes – This XJ-S is in amazing condition throughout. This car looks better now than most 3 year old examples did back when new. This is not some recently re sprayed example, its amazingly original, its just always been perfectly cared for, originally part of a multi millionaire’s collection, and always stored inside when not in use. The paintwork is absolutely stunning, the interior is also perfectly preserved, the leather still lovely and soft, no sun damage to dash or wood trim. You would be hard pressed to find a better example. Its just fresh from having a full service and new brakes all round (£6000 +). Here we have an outstanding, ready to show example of the Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible. This 1991 pre facelift car, is in immaculate, original condition throughout. It has covered only 28, 000 miles from new. Everywhere you look on this car its in amazing condition, from the immaculate Glacier White paintwork, the superb Isis Blue leather interior, the recently replaced Blue soft top and matching Tonneau cover. Look underneath this example and you will find an amazing, solid and original chassis. You would be hard pressed to find a better example.
If you haven’t had the chance to drive one of these fantastic cars, they are a super smooth, luxury convertibles. The V12 engine on this example starts instantly and rests with a lovely idle. Take this stunning car for a drive and you will see why this engine is loved so much. The revised ‘Fireball’ V12 provides seemingly effortless, smooth performance. No fuss, the speedo just keeps going, amazing performance for the year. But its more the way its delivered, a real feeling of quality, surrounded by a lovely interior, complete with lots of wood and chrome trim.
This car was originally delivered to the Irish Jaguar dealer, H B Dennis. The original owners were Dunnes Stores Group, based in Dublin, then a commercial property developer, again based in Dublin. It has lead a very sheltered life, always part of a large car collection, stored and maintained correctly when not in use. The car stayed in Ireland until it purchased and registered in the UK in 2016. I know the last 2 owners, the first of these owners wanted an outstanding example to use when at their Portugal holiday home, where this car spent 3 years. The current owner of 4 years, enjoyed this as part of a lovely collection, always in professional storage when not in use.
The Glacier White paintwork is in amazing condition throughout. It all looks to be very original, no dings, no dents, no rust. It really is ready to show now. Look closer, all the chrome work is just as good.
The wheels are in immaculate condition. All are fitted with a set of the correct, Pirelli P600 tyres.
The interior is finished in Isis Blue leather, with Grey deep pile carpet along with 2 sets of Blue, Jaguar logo overmats. As you can imaging, all the carpets, door cards, dash, seats are in excellent condition. The seats have been kept out of the sun when not in use, so it has lovely soft leather.
The boot and engine bay are just as good. In the boot you will find everything is as it left the factory, enen has the original toolkit. Under the bonnet you will find the marvellous V12 engine correctly presented. All factory stickers etc still present as they should be.
The 5. 3 V12 engine starts and performs perfectly. A super smooth idle, hot or cold. Instant smooth response from this lovely, effortless engine. Underneath this engine appears to be very dry and again presents correctly.
The auto gearbox performs as it should.
We have the original manual pack, all the original books, original service book, all ownership details, Irish mileage verification and HPI clear report, service receipts and MOT history from the UK. We also have a copy of the full AA report undertaken by the last Irish owner, which reads exceptionally well.
This is an un-repeatable example of the XJS Convertible.
With only 28, 000 miles, amazing condition, perfect colour combination.
