I am selling my 2002/ 02 Vauxhall Astra 1. 6 manual estate in blue. This is the 8 valve version which is much more reliable and easier to work on than the 16 valve. The car has only 4 previous owners and I have owned it since 6 May 2022 during which time it has been perfectly reliable. The only fault is a stuck thermostat - sometimes the temperature gauge does not go up correctly and the hot air setting on the heater is only like warm. The car does not overheat and never has during the twelve months of my ownership. The car has covered a genuine 82, 007 miles. Mechanically the car is excellent with no known mechanical faults whatsoever. The bodywork is in very good condition with a few minor dings, marks etc commensurate with the age of the vehicle. The corners of the bumpers are scuffed, but this has never bothered me. The vehicle has a trailer towbar fitted. The car is missing one wheel trim - I will attempt to replace this with the correct Vauxhall one.
The MoT expires on 2 May 2024.
