This car was restored in 2018 with a recorded mileage (believed to be genuine at the time) of 53, 000, miles . I don't have enough space in this free advert to list everything that was done but will say that it included an engine overhaul, new floor and sills, new brakes including changing the original brake master cylinder for a new tandem one. After restoration it was bought by a British expat living in France from where I bought it last year. While in France it ran with a kph speedo but was not used much. We drove it for a few days but it broke down on the way back to the ferry and we had it recovered to a 2CV specialist in the UK who fixed the issue (fuel starvation) and made a number of other improvements (receipts for £2100). He also refitted the mph speedo which now reads 53317 miles. The car starts and runs perfectly and I would say is now reliable enough to tackle any length journey with confidence.
