This particular example has been used and enjoyed daily for the last 8 years. It is mechanically very strong, is very solid underneath but would benefit from a full cosmetic overhaul which would form a very satisfying restoration project.
You only have to look at the value of other P1 examples in various states of condition to know that this is a very worthwhile project.
The bodywork and respray would transform the car. There are several dents and marks all around the car, the rear sills have the common rust issues and would need repairing, the boot drain channels have some areas of corrosion and holes and the wheels would need refurbshing. There are no bodywork or interior modifications.
The interior would benefit from a good clean and the driver seat has worn badly on the bolsters.
Mechanically it is very good, and drives beautifully. thanks in part to the full overhaul of the engine. More info available, I've run out of text!
