MG RV8: PAS/ New Windscreen Frame/ R380 Gearbox 2nd to last from production run.
At the 1992 Birmingham Motor Show MG/ Rover introduced the RV8. It was initially conceived as a concept car but interest was so strong that the company decided to take the car to production later that year with a limited run of just under 2, 000 cars.
The 3. 9 litre V8 engine delivers 185bhp to the rear wheels through a five-speed gearbox giving impressive performance - 0 to 60mph in under six seconds and a top speed of around 135mph. The numbers only tell half the story. Driving an RV8 (with power steering upgrade) gives an utterly engaging driving experience with V8 torque and addictive soundtrack – we love them.
Milestones are always delighted to market an outstanding RV8. Finished in metallic Woodcote Green with Parchment (leather) interior, green mohair hood and power steering upgrade the MG was exported to Japan in 1997 (a late car with R380 gearbox) returning to the UK in 2002 and marketed by Beech Hill Garage having covered just 13, 000 miles.
Since 2002 the car has had just two private owners and covered an additional 32, 000 miles (Total Mileage = 45, 000 miles).
The last owner purchased his RV8 in 2011 and has used her for continental touring and road trips in the UK. During this period the car has been meticulously serviced (very important for the RV8) and maintained regardless of cost at Robin Lackford Engineering (5 Spanner recommended by the MG Owners Club) with expenditure in excess of £20k.

This is one of the best maintained/ best driving RV8’s we have marketed and the power steering is a very desirable upgrade.
