This beautifully presented Citroen Dyane 6 is a UK home market RHD example first registered on the 1st March 1981. XGO 361W was taken off the road in 2010 with a mileage of 98000 and in 2020/ 2021 was subject of a major restoration costing in the region of £15, 000. Since completion the Dyane has covered little over 1000 miles and has arrived with us from Oxfordshire in delightful condition.
The Citroen shell was prepared and rebuilt by Bradford specialists Citwins and Peak 2CV carried out the build-up and further restoration work. The Dyane was subject to a new galvanised chassis, new floor and bulkhead, front wings and a new retractable vinyl roof. The interior was renovated and wheels and tyres replaced. Mechanically the car was overhauled, the engine rebuilt with new pistons, the gearbox rebuilt by Pembro, specialist 2CV transmissions and 123 electronic ignition fitted.
XGO 361W looks very period in the stunning colour of Vert Jade and generally presents very well having had a huge level of expenditure. The chassis is new, the body exceptional and the car finished to a lovely standard, ideal for regular use, shows events and summer driving. On the road the car drives incredibly well with a fabulous engine and gearbox, and will be supplied freshly serviced and with a full MOT having covered very few miles over the winter months.
This is a delightful example offering exceptional value and comes with spare keys, restoration invoices, a Haynes manual and copy of the Citroen 2CV ‘Different is Everything' book.
