Previous owner removed the factory BMW alarm system (as it was apparently problematic) the standard BMW convertible deadlock holes filled in and spayed which in my opinion looks better that standard.
Bodywork is lovely for its age, there are a few minor age-related marks, trolley dinks and scratches.
No rust anywhere
It would not take much to get this car up to concourse show condition- which was always my intention.

Engine starts, drives and stops beautifully. Steering, gearbox, brakes, clutch all perfectI purchased the car just over 2 years ago with a view of a long-term investment. Previous owner knew the car from new. No expense has been spared in my ownership. This is a very reluctant sale as need funds to expand my business.
It is a pleasure to own and drive, brings a smile to everyone that sees it and being a 2. 5L 6-cylinder (170bhp) M20 engine linked to a manual gearbox makes it fantastic fun to drive. I did a lot of research to acquire one with this specification. The metallic black and the tan leather is such a good combination and echoes the retro 1980’s yuppy era.
Very rare and completely original -you don’t see many on the roads.
Price £14, 500 . Price is non-negotiable. May be prepared to sell the car without the number plate but would prefer it to go with the car as its part of its heritage.
