For sale my 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 A2. US import in 2003 correctly registered as 1978 model so Tax and MOT exempt. This is a proper KZ1000 not a LTD model with parts changed to look like a standard 1000. Bike is in good condition with original paint , it has a new rear mudguard and indicators and a period 4 into 1 Harris exhaust system. The bike has had a recent oil and filter change , new plugs, air filter replaced and a Dynatek s electronic ignition and Dynatek coils fitted. Carbs have been ultra sonically cleaned and are spotless inside and out, casings and rocker cover have been polished. Wheels have been rebuilt with stainless spokes and rims, correct UK spec twin disc conversion carried out. I have the original owners manual and 2 keys V5 in my name. Bike rides like it should its a real blast from the past , ive had several z1's and 900's but the z1000 does handle a bit better and stops alot better. Only selling as im looking for a smaller Kawasaki triple H1 or Suzuki GT550 / 750
