The Appeal
The second-generation Granada was Europe’s executive car of choice. Available with a huge range of engines and trim options, there was a Granny for virtually anyone from middle manager to Board executive.
This 1980 car is fitted with the rare 2.3L version of the ‘Cologne’ V6 engine, mated to a desirable manual gearbox. It is finished in silver with a brown fabric interior, all carrying a good state of preservation.
We’re told that the car was stored for 13 years before the vendor recommissioned the car. That work included engine servicing, carburettor overhaul, plus attention to the brakes and fuel system. It carries Contrôle Technique certification to October 2027.
The vendor remarks:
“The pleasure of listening to the sound of the V6 while listening to cassettes from the 80s.”
