This Black Tulip MGB Roadster was first registered 1st November 1973 and originally delivered with a brown interior. This wasn’t to the owners’ liking and has subsequently upgraded to black leather piped in white. The 1798cc B-series engine is standard and is in good running order, this is connected to an overdrive gearbox operating on 3rd and 4th gears which is smooth in operation and operated by a switch on the gear lever. The car has been in Father and son ownership since new, the MOT history is complete and the vendor advises that the total mileage to date is 180, 000 miles. Colne Classics undertook a rebuild of the car in 2007 which included the fitment of a reconditioned Gold Seal engine. The car has its original Rostyle wheels but has the traditional full chrome front grille.
