Trophy number 277 with a very low 45205 miles on the clock.
This Trophy is in brilliant condition and must be one of the best left on the road. Once featured in the “Modern Classic” magazine and consequently won a group comparison with several other modern hatchbacks in that era. A copy of the magazine is also included with the purchase of the car. All original handbooks, Trophy CD ROM and 2 keys present. Tons of service paperwork included
Bodywork
The bodywork is in great condition, there are no noticeable marks or scratches on the car. Only several stone chips to the front are visible. The car underwent a front end respray in 2015 to keep it in top condition. There is an even gloss all around the car and only a light fading on the left hand door handle and rear boot lock noticeable. The headlights are clean and clear as they were replaced and upgraded for new genuine Renault projector items in 2021. Wheels are in good condition with only 2 of them with slight curbing.
Engine and gearbox
The engine is smooth and revs happily with no unwanted or strange noises. The last cambelt/ dephaser change was done in November 2019 along with an engine bay tidy up including the painting of the suspension turrets and engine head cover. All still looks fantastic to this day and stands out from all of the others 182 Trophys on the market. A really great engine bay to look at. Engine oil and filter was changed May 2023 and also put through a new MOT with no advisories. Air con was also re-gassed and works as it should. Brakes are good with basically like new disks and pads.
Chassis
The chassis is in great condition with no unwanted noises. Both front lower arms including the ball joints, genuine Renault top mounts were replaced last month with also a new genuine Renault clutch cable being fitted along with new oil and filter to the total costs of around £750. Within the last 7 years the car has had new Sachs dampers installed and they work perfectly. This car is magical to drive and the most fun car I have ever driven.
Interior
The all important Recaro seats are in superb condition and with only very light creasing to be seen. The rear seats are also in fantastic condition, a true credit to its previous owners. There is one very small mark to the passenger side dash insert where ABS Airbag is printed, nothing too noticeable and does not attract attention. Correct mats are all very good. No marks or discolouring to the headliner at all. The steering wheel was refurbished within the last 5 years and looks perfect.

The low mileage of the this car, coupled with only 5 previous owners and the condition it is in makes this a very collectable car and one that will sit nicely in anybody’s car collection. Surely one of the best out there for sale, it really is not to be missed. The few modifications this car has can be changed back to standard very easily if required although I will say these modifications are the ones you want! This car will be missed and I will regret this decision to sell in years to come without a doubt. The most fun car out of the box that I have driven. Super little thing that needs nothing doing but requires a new good home.
