Classic Gilera Nordwest-the original factory Supermotard. Paintwork is obviously non original but suits it very well being the colours of the Italian Flag. The bike runs and rides perfectly and is huge fun, it has an Arrow stainless exhaust and a K&N air filter. The engine has allegedly been tuned although I have no proof of this as it was done long before my ownership-it is certainly very responsive which would suggest that something has been done to it-needs top quality petrol as well. It has Renthal handlebars and a race type front brake master cylinder, I have owned it since January 2017 but it is now time to let someone else have some fun with it. I have just fitted a new rear tyre and a new battery and it has a 12 month MOT.
I have a large quantity of bodywork and mechanical spares which are available by separate negotiation-I also have a pair of Keihan CR 30mm smoothbore carbs which will be offered to the purchaser before being available to anyone else.
I have loved owning and riding this bike, but after breaking my hip 2 years ago realise that I am unlikely to ride it again. The Nordwest is a fairly rare bike-you are very unlikely to see one at your local bike meet. The paintwork is very eye catching and totally appropriate for this mark.
