Jeep Cherokee 4×4 1982
A fully restored and museum registered Jeep Cherokee.
Sold new here in Finland, originally used by the air force staff.
The body was lifted from the frame, sandblasted and any necessary repairs carried out, and then painted. Suspension was serviced including new dampers, all joints checked and renewed if necessary.
Engine fully restored. Bored out, new pistons, bearings, new camshaft, carburettor, alternator, water pump, timing chain/ sprockets, oil pump, clutch.
Gearbox and front/ rear diffs serviced. Brake pipes and hoses all renewed. New brake discs and pads. New power steering pump.
The floor of the body has been completely renewed with stiffeners and frame beams.
Upholstery renewed / renovated.
Resprayed with all windows removed, the windshield with seals is new. Door and tailgate seals renewed. Installed central locking for ease of use.
Most of the work is now completed in detail. Some parts were certainly not mentioned, but I believe that this will give you a complete idea of the measures taken on the car.
If you wish, you can get both tire/ rim packages shown in the pictures with negotiation.
