1998 Vauxhall Vectra Sri V6 Sport

Vauxhall Vectra 1998 2. 5 V6 SRi sport estate, beautiful dark metallic red 85, 000 miles, MOT March 2024. I purchased it as a Vauxhall pre registered car with 4, 000 miles in 1999 so all but one of its 25 years has been in my care. As the tourer model it has been a practical and very capable car especially with that engine. I have always garaged it and the interior is in superb condition. It sounds fantastic and reminds you how engines used to be from the start up woofle to the higher rev V6 howl. Unmistakable !
Several years ago it was replaced as the every day car but I couldn't bring myself to consider selling it until now when I feel that it's time for someone else to enjoy and care for it. Throughout my ownership I have maintained the car meticulously and as a result it had a new catalytic converter in March 22 as well as routine servicing, the last oil and filter change being March 22 and due to the low miles it covers the oil is still like new on the dipstick. The most recent MOT mentioned corrosion on the underside but this was not significant, if I was keeping it I would probably budget for replacement sills in the next couple of years. I would have the front pads changed but I realise that a new owner may have their own preference in terms of specification, Brembo, EBC etc so I will leave that decision to the next keeper.
There are so few of these available now, to find one like this with such low mileage has to be as good an investment as it is to drive. £5, 995
