This is a 1963 (but in 1964 spec), Series 1 3. 8 FHC E Type in immaculate Carmen red paintwork with a fully restored black leather interior. It was the subject of a no expense spared, nut and bolt rebuild some years ago but has covered few miles since then. The only modification to the vehicle is that it is fitted with the later fully synchromesh 4. 2 unit. The original Moss box is also supplied and it is a fully matching numbers car. It also has a Jaguar heritage certificate. The car was imported back to the UK in 2013 and it has since had a complete engine and gearbox rebuild costing in excess of £19, 000 (documented). It has a new set of wire wheels and new (correct) Dunlop SP sport tyres. It comes with a current MOT (no advisories), a photographic record of the rebuild and numerous invoices for the parts and work carried out in the past. It is breathtaking in appearance and can best be described as being in near 'concourse' condition. It is most certainly one of the best of its type in the UK.
