For sale an Opel Corsa A GSI, that has been badged in the UK as Vauxhall Nova GTE Mk1.
Left hand drive car, located in Portugal. Shows about 55. 000 Km on the clocks, but I believe the odometer has turned at least twice. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and made a travel of about 1000 km in just one day, without any issue.
This car has been recently checked-up and serviced, the oil and filters have been changed. The cambelt was replaced by the previous owner on june 2021. By this time, the head gasket was also replaced. Despite this, I noticed the engine consumed some oil, so I asked the workshop to check the engine compression and it is good. They revised all the leaks the car had and a proper oil was used on the service.
The car is fitted with a top strut bar and sport suspension set, but it is not uncomfortable. The engine hood also has a pair of shock absorbers, that works just great. The wheels have been recently professionally refurbished, and the braking system may had been upgraded because the calipers had to be machined to fit the original wheels.
Apart of the issues that can be noticed in the pictures, the radio does not work, the partial odometer is not working and the fuel gauge is not reliable.
The bottom of the driver’s door has some rust, so does the rear end that shows some previous repairs that were not done properly.
Due safety reasons the door lock cylinders were removed and it can be opened with a remote fob. The car is fitted with alarm but it is disconnected.
