Here at BAM Specialist cars we are delighted to offer this charming little LHD Fiat 600D featuring a water cooled 767cc engine, Built in Turin in 1965 then first registered in the UK on 01/ 02/ 1971. This 2 door "Fastback" shape was designed loosely on the VW Beetle with its front wheel drive, rear engine'd, 4 seat configuration, Designed to bring cheap family motoring to the masses alongside the Fiat 500. Weighing in at just 450kg, helping to achieve an 85kmh top speed with 4 occupants and luggage, Featuring hydraulic drum brakes, double mounted leaf springs and gas charged shock absorbers with semi trailing arms at the rear, also featuring a 3 syncro 4 speed gearbox, water cooled engine with ample interior heating, All 600s had generators with mechanical external regulators, Featuring 12" steel wheel and chrome hubcaps and whitewall tyre walls.
