An extensive history file comes with the car containing a large collection of invoices for work completed and new parts purchased over the last 30 years. During 1990 the engine was rebuilt to include a reground crank, rebored block, new pistons, bearings, lightened flywheel and engine balanced. Around the same time it would appear from the invoices on file that the car underwent a comprehensive restoration with many new mechanical parts fitted and interior improvements. Since then car has led a cosseted life covering only 2000 miles ( Verified by retained MOT certificates ) and would appear to have only been driven sparingly on dry weather days. Starts easily and drives beautifully. Clean and tidy engine bay. Delightful red leather interior which matches the black paintwork beautifully . Very nice clean wire spoked wheels recently stripped and grey powder coated. Overall this car has been regularly maintained and well looked after. Genuine reason for sale.
