Kawasaki Z650C1
This is a very nice and highly original Z650C (or Custom as it was called).
UK registered as an Historic vehicle so no road tax to pay and no MOT needed.
Has been restored to a very decent standard including frame respray, and dream machine paintwork, All chromework in excellent condition including its original 4-2 exhaust system (must be one of just a few with its original exhausts in such good condition).
And it has its original seat base, foam and cover all in excellent condition. This alone would back up its recorded mileage of less than 12000 miles.
All major chromework has been rechromed including all of the exhaust system.
Wheels repainted.
New tyres and chain and sprockets.
Boyer Bransden electronic ignition with matching coils.
Engine fully serviced including valve clearances and carbs balanced.
Engine is a gem. Starts easily and sounds great.
Comes with its orignal owners manual (such a nice surprise to find this under the seat flap when I bought it). Ditto the original tool kit although I did have to buy a new Kawasaki tool bag for it.
Correct kawasaki bolts everywhere.
Overall a very, very lovely Z650C that has retained its originality. In fact, I think the only non-original items are the indicator lenses. Rare to find in this condition.
Mileage may go up slightly as all my bikes are roadworthy and are used for occasional commuting.
I bought this as a reminder of the fun I had on one when I was 17 and its not let me down. As I near retirement I need to downsize my collection so no reasonable offer refused.
