Vehicle history:
In 1970 this beautiful flat radiator coupe was first registered. It did not have the complex air conditioning system from the factory. Today an advantage, one does not have to worry about the maintenance of this. The current owner acquired the beautiful car in 2017 and drove it regularly as a nice addition to his other vehicles. Maintenance and work such as a new steering box have been done recently. The Mercedes is ready to go right out of the box.
In 1967, Mercedes brought out a new 2. 8-liter engine. Accordingly, the new W 111/ C was now called 280 SE Coupé. Another facelift, also recognizable from the outside, was given to the W111 from 1969 with the introduction of the 3. 5-liter V8 engine with 200 hp, when the front end got a flatter hood and a lower radiator grille. The models were consequently distinguished from then on by the unofficial designations "high cooler" and "flat cooler."
