I’ve owned this bike for 16 years, a really enjoyable tool which in no way reflects its age.

Full restoration back in 2007 followed by further reconditioning of engine in 2021.
This consisted of Rebore to + 0. 5 from standard, complete overhaul of head ( New Guides, Valves, seals etc ) all new valve timing running gear. Mileage covered since top end rebuild 2, 258 miles.
Completed a service today of cam chain adjustment / New Denso Spark Plugs / Carb balance checked via vacuum gauges all spot on. Chain cleaned and lubed.
All ready to go.
My original purchase was founded upon my youthful days of not being able to own one.
Now that’s been fulfilled and 16 yrs on age has now got the better of me. A reluctant Sale, if you get the opportunity to see and possibly own it you’ll understand my sentiment.
The bike is in such good condition because apart from being cherished it resides in a vacuum bubble over the winter and only comes out on sunny summer days.
The bike has a relaxed upright riding position.
The power delivery is smooth with plenty of torque. Your able to bimble at 30mph in top gear and then just open her up without dropping down cogs.
All in all a very comfortable bike of which you’ll find admired where ever you rock up.
