MGA Twin Cam Coupe . This is a genuine UK Home Market car, and one of only 150 that was built in RH Drive for this country, making it a very rare car. I rebuilt this car for a customer in the mid 1990s.
The car was completely dismantled, and underwent a last nut and bolt professional restoration, the body and chassis were sand blasted, and all corrosion was removed and replaced with new metalwork as required. The body was re finished in its original colour of Mineral Blue.
All of the running gear was completely rebuilt, including the steering suspension and braking systems. The interior was completely renewed at the same time. The car is fitted with Deluxe seat's .
A few years ago the decision was made to replace the Twin Cam engine with a 1800cc five bearing mildly tuned engine, this is coupled up to a High Gear Engineering five speed gearbox conversion, at the same time the radiator was replaced , and refurbished carbs and air filters were fitted.
The car drives really well with plenty of performance on tap, and cruises effortlessly at high speeds on the motorways, making this a great car for touring in.
In the last twenty five years it's only traveled just over six thousand miles. The car is still in fabulous condition with a lovely deep shine to the paint, its had a few stone chips touched in as would be expected for a car of its age, the leather Deluxe seats are very comfortable and the interior is in great shape too. It's also fitted with a Motolita steering wheel , and a pair of new inertia reel seat belts, and wider wheel rims.
The car comes with a nice history folder showing previous owners, and invoices for work carried out on the car. It also comes with a Heritage Build Certificate and its original Buff Log Book.
The car will be sold with a full 12 months MOT Test.
The original Twin Cam engine and gearbox can also be purchased by separate negotiations if required.
Road tests and independent inspections are welcome.

So all in all a lovely car, with a nice history. Professionally restored and still in great shape. Fitted with many upgrades that make it very usable on todays roads. Also a very rare sight on our roads today being one of the original one hundred and fifty built.
Also restored by an MGA Specialist with over 45 years experience .
