We are pleased to offer this lovely and very rare Austin Countryman. Previously sold by us 5 years ago. The Austin was first registered on 13 th December 1958 and was finished in tweed grey. A comprehensive restoration was carried out in 2016 and it was then the bare shell was painted in its current blue. It has remained in very nice condition, the underside is absolutely sound with no substandard repairs to be seen. It has had some sensible upgrades including front disc brakes, remote brake fluid reservoir and radial tyres all round.
The period trafficators are still functioning and it also has direction indicators fitted. Mileage is displaying 42681, although we cannot warrant this. The Austin drives superbly and is surprisingly lively for the 948cc engine
The history file contains the original buff log book, many photos of the restoration, purchase invoice from 1961 to its 2 nd owner.
