We have available for your consideration an absolutely exemplary 2012 LWB Land Rover Defender 110 XS TDCI 7 seater station wagon featuring gorgeous Orkney Grey metallic coachwork with a complementary XS black leather interior. This classic Defender being supplied in XS trim it further benefits from alloy wheels, air conditioning, heated seats, electric windows, central locking etc.
This example is also fitted with a very expensive Hannibal, lightweight, full length, aluminium roof rack that is sizeable enough to load a significant amount of additional cargo for a variety of adventures.
In terms of condition our Land Rover can only be described as excellent in terms of body/ paintwork, interior and chassis. Mechanically, the example retains its original Puma turbo diesel engine and 6 speed gearbox. Accordingly the car drives very well as you would expect. All of the aforementioned is indicative that this vehicle has never been used for either agricultural or commercial purposes and has been cosseted by its previous owners. For a 13 year old Defender the warranted mileage at just over 87, 000 is low and supported by extensive main dealer service history, the last stamped up service being completed at 82, 700 miles. Additionally and as a precautionary measure we have just completed an up to date service in our workshops.
We have also inspected the underside/ chassis of this Land Rover carefully this being a known problem area but are pleased to report that it is also excellent with no signs of damage, rust repairs or notable corrosion with much of the black factory paint still being in evidence. Furthermore, the complete underside including internal parts of box sections has been treated with the excellent Lanoguard spray on underbody protection which should preserve the vehicle for years to come.
The current MOT expires in November 2023 but we are prepared to put a fresh 12 month MOT on the vehicle inclusive in the sale for the lucky buyer.
