With a direct lineage to the earlier Griffith, the Chimaera went on to become TVR’s best-selling model. Production began in 1991 and continued through to 2003 and approximately 6, 000 Chimaeras were built in total.
This is a Chimaera with the 4. 0 V8 Rover engine making for a more reliable TVR experience compared to the speed 6 models
This Chim is in great condition throughout (for an old British made sports car). She’s painted in the quintessential TVR colour of starmist blue with a full leather blue and cream interior which is in great condition too.
This is the earlier pre-facelift model and certainly is the purest iteration in terms of its design.
Having said this she does benefit from some of the later alterations including 5 speed Borg Warner 5 speed gearbox, power steering and the revised alternator.
