Assembled for Chris Browning, then AC Owners Club Parts Convenor by EGAutokraft (Emilio Garcia) in the late 1970’s/ early 1980’s using period parts/ new parts to original specifications.
Subsequently race prepared by well known preparer Roger Dowson in 2000 and later converted to FIA specification, again by Roger Dowson in 2010. Further developed since with all bodywork alterations carried out by Lawrence Kett of GA Fabrications.
Raced at the Goodwood Revival Shelby Cup in 2012 (feature article in the AC Owners Club Members Magazine).
Raced successfully with GT&SCC, Masters, HSCC, AMOC, CSCC and SMRC and eligible Peter Auto series & Le Mans Classic.
Lightweight at only 1007Kgs (GTSCC & Masters Min 1000Kg).
440 BHP Pete Knight 289 with only c 10 hours since new.
Tex T10 Gearbox with Sebring Ratios newly refreshed by RW Racing Services and unused since.
Cast Iron Salisbury 4HU Differential built by BPA.
Rosejointed suspension arms with Koni 8211 shock absorbers.
Girling CR front & Girling ORA rear calipers with Pagid Blue pads.
80L fuel tank for 1 hour race, combines with removable 75L fuel tank in spare wheel for 2 hour races. Twin Holley fuel pumps.
New Crossthwaite & Gardiner Magnesium FIA Wheels, 6. 5” front, 8. 5” rear with fresh set of Dunlop 600L15/ 700L15 tyres
Current FIA HTP Class GTS12 valid to 31. 12. 25
Included a variety of spare parts including anti roll bars front and rear, original drivers seat and some trim, tonneau etc.
